Ultrapol Polyester Charcoal Mineral Roofing Felt is a heavy-duty roofing membrane designed to provide dependable waterproof protection for sheds, summerhouses, workshops, log cabins, garages, kennels and other garden buildings.
Manufactured with a tough polyester reinforcement and SBS-modified bitumen, Ultrapol offers improved strength, flexibility and tear resistance compared with standard glass-fibre shed felt. Its natural charcoal mineral surface creates a smart, professional-looking roof finish while helping to protect the waterproof membrane below.
Each roll measures 10 metres long by 1 metre wide, providing a nominal roll area of 10m² before allowing for overlaps, trimming and installation waste.

Installation Information
Install Ultrapol roofing felt onto a clean, dry, smooth and structurally sound timber roof deck. Secure the membrane using suitable galvanised clout nails, with felt adhesive applied to laps, edges and other required areas.
Allow sufficient material for overlaps, roof edges and detailing when calculating the number of rolls required. The film on the underside is part of the product and should not be peeled away.
Important: This is a nail-and-adhesive applied shed roofing felt. It is not designed for torch-on installation, and a naked flame should not be used to install it.
Always follow the product manufacturer’s installation guidance and appropriate working-at-height safety procedures.
