Wonderbuilds SBS HMP Torch On Underlay is SBS polymer modified bitumen torch applied felt and is used under Bipol Standard EKP torch on cap sheet. Ideal for use on new roofs and for the repair of existing roofs, can be used on both flat and sloping roofs, used as the underlay of a built up roofing system under the Bipol Standard EKP torch on cap sheet.
Bicroelast HMP torch-on underlay consists of glass-fibre mat carrier coated with polymer modified bitumen. The upper surface is finished with fine grained-sand and the lower surface has a sacrificial ‘snowflake’ polymer film which rapidly melts during torching operation. Provides good high temperature performance and is resistant to damage and marking during application.
