INSTALLATION GUIDANCE

Store plasterboard sheets flat, dry and protected from rain, moisture and impact damage. Boards should be handled carefully and carried on edge by two people where possible.

Cut the board using a suitable plasterboard knife or drywall saw. Fix to timber or metal framing using the correct plasterboard screws at the spacing specified by the system manufacturer. Joints should be taped and filled or finished with a suitable plaster skim.

Moisture Resistant, Fire and Soundblock boards must be installed as part of a correctly specified system to achieve the intended performance. The board alone does not guarantee a particular fire-resistance period, moisture rating or acoustic result.
