This heavy-duty post shoe is designed to fix a 100 × 100mm (4” × 4”) timber post directly onto an existing concrete base, slab or wall, eliminating the need for digging holes or setting posts in concrete. Ideal for situations where groundworks are restricted, time is tight, or you need a clean, removable fixing method.

Unlike basic post shoes, the Bolt Secure version is engineered to hold the post firmly in place using two 8mm carriage bolts that tighten to clamp the timber within the holder. This clamping action helps reduce post movement and makes it a strong, practical choice for fencing, decking screens, pergolas, car ports and patio structures where stability matters.

A key benefit of a bolt down shoe is that it lifts the base of the timber post above ground level, helping to reduce prolonged moisture contact.
